George Michael's sister, Melanie Panayiotou's share of his over R1.8bn estate will reportedly go to charity

Cape Town - George Michael's sister, Melanie Panayiotou was found dead at her home in Hampstead, London on the third anniversary of the singer's death. The 55-year-old was found by her older sister Yioda.

George left most of his £98 million (over R1.8 billion) estate to his sisters, and according to The Sun, Melanie's share will now be donated to charity.

While it's unclear the exact amount that will be donated, the act is very much in keeping with the generosity displayed by the Careless Whisper singer during his lifetime.

After his death, it was revealed that he secretly gave away millions to worthy causes and individuals in need.
