Cape Town – Disney has released the tracklist for the Lion King soundtrack which will be released digitally on 11 July, seven days before the live-action film is released in theatres.
It will include a brand new song by Elton John, and Tim Rice titled Never Too Late.
The score will be composed by the award-winning Hans Zimmer who also worked on the original 1994 film.
South African composer Lebo M has composed and produced three African vocal and choir arrangements.
Pharrell Williams producer three songs, including Can You Feel the Love Tonight.
There also a mystery song at number 14 on the track list which is listed as TBA.
The 18 tracklist includes performances by cast members Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
