Barbra Streisand apologises for comments about Michael Jackson accusers

Cape Town - Barbra Streisand has said that she is "profoundly sorry" for defending Michael Jackson.

In a statement released via her Instagram on Saturday, 23 March the iconic singer expressed her regret about comments she made to The Times in the UK

She said: "I am profoundly sorry for any pain or misunderstanding I caused by not choosing my words more carefully about Michael Jackson and his victims, because the words as printed do not reflect my true feelings.... I didn’t mean to dismiss the trauma these boys experienced in any way."
