Ariana Grande did entire an photoshoot to reveal dress she would’ve worn at Grammys
Cape Town - Ariana Grande may not have attended the 2019 Grammy Awards but that didn’t stop her from serving looks!
The pop singer decided to forego the ceremony after an alleged disagreement with the show’s producers over her set list.
According to Variety, Ariana (25) felt “insulted” after producers refused to allow her to perform her new single, 7 Rings.
Ariana decided to pull out of the performance and not to attend the event.
"It was when my creativity and self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more," she tweeted last week.
However, as the award ceremony kicked off, Ariana posted multiple photos of herself sprawled out on the floor, donning the gown and jewellery she’d planned to wear to the Grammys.
“When @zacposen makes you a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not ?? . . . thank you ??,” the star wrote, thanking designer Zac Posen for the Cinderella-like strapless ballgown.
Zac Posen’s team told PEOPLE her gown took a month to make!
Although she missed out on the awards ceremony, the Thank You, Next singer won her first ever Grammy for best pop vocal album for 2018’s Sweetener at this year's event on Sunday night.
“I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out to be honest) and I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things . . . but f*ck,” she tweeted about the honour.
“This is wild and beautiful. thank you so much.”
