Cape Town - Multiple award-winning musician Alicia Keys is set to return as the host of the 62nd annual Grammy Awards which will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2020, Billboard reports.
The singer who herself has won 15 Grammy awards throughout her career, will be the third woman and the first female musician to host the awards more than once.
She recently won her most recent Grammy in 2014, where she took home the best R&B award for her ‘Girl on Fire’ album.

"When the opportunity came back around, there was no question about returning as host," Keys said in a statement to E! News.
"Last year was such a powerful experience for me. Not only did I feel the love in the room, but I felt it from around the world, and it confirmed the healing and unifying power of music," she continued.
Keys made her Grammy debut in 2002, where she bagged her first five awards including Best New Artist. And the girl who started out on the rough side of New York City went on to carve an impressive career in music and collected ten more Grammys over the years. After impressing as a host this year, Keys will return next year.
President of the Recording Academy, Deborah Dugan, said, "From Best New Artist recipient to Grammy Award host, Alicia Keys has been a beacon of artistry within the music community for more than two decades. Last year was a testament to her compelling creativity and we are thrilled that she will return to the Grammy stage as our host."
