Fans of the comics need no introduction to the armour which makes its first big-screen appearance.
Director Patty Jenkins got her inspiration for the costume from ancient Roman soldiers, reports the publication.
Academy-award winning costume design Lindy Hemming spent hours working on it. It weighs about 19kgs and is made of carbon fibre.
Speaking about the costume, Lindy says "in the light it's always liquid, moving. There's a feeling of non-flatness…. Because in the comics, she does fight her mightiest battles in the golden suit."
