We watched and reviewed the 3 new films opening in SA cinemas this weekend

Cape Town – Another Oscar hopeful makes its debut in local cinemas this weekend.

Green Book, a biographical drama is inspired by the true story of a tour of the Deep South between African-American classical and jazz pianist Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) and Tony Vallelonga (Viggo Mortensen).

Also showing: A cyberpunk action film written by James Cameron, and an independent Afrikaans drama by first time director Hendrick Cronje.
