Cape Town – Brie Larson kicks ass in the newest trailer for Captain Marvel.
Disney released a second look at the upcoming movie on Monday evening. The first trailer was released in September, along with a teaser poster.
The new footage opens with Larson’s character, Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, on a packed subway approaching an old lady, what follows is an epic action fuelled scene as the two engage in a fight.
The rest of the clip sees Carol try to piece together her life on Earth before she became part-Kree, "a race of noble heroes."
It also features a first look at Annette Bening’s character, a Kree who rescued Carol.
She can be heard saying: “Your life began the day it nearly ended. We found you with no memory. We made you one of us. So you could live longer, stronger, superior. You were reborn.”
The studio also released a new poster.
