WATCH: The cast of 'A Dog's Journey' talk about the new movie

Cape Town – In 2017 audiences met and fell in love with Bailey, a devoted dog, who through reincarnation discovers his purpose, helping his beloved boy Ethan become a complete man. 

In the sequel, A Dog's Journey, Bailey (voiced by Josh Gad) and Ethan's (Dennis Quaid) story continue. Armed with the task to protect Ethan's granddaughter CJ, Bailey promises to come back to protect her.

The returning cast: Josh, Ethan and Marg Helgenberger (Hannah) talk about coming to do the second film and the evolution of their characters while newcomers Kathryn Prescott (older CJ) and Henry Lau share what made them fall in love with the script.(See video above)
