Cape Town – Ryan Reynolds will be lending his voice as narrator for an upcoming IMAX documentary.
The film titled, Great Bear Rainforest, will take a look at the wildlife-rich world of the rainforest on the central coast of British Columbia.
It is directed by Ian McAllister, the executive director of Pacific Wild a non-profit organisation committed to defending wildlife and their habitat in Canada’s Great Bear Rainforest.
The organisation shared the news on their official Twitter account alongside a short clip.
The Deadpool actor retweeted it saying: “Can’t wait. I know I don’t record til Thursday but I already laid my clothes out.”

In a press release McAllistar said: “Ryan is a wonderful representative for the ongoing conservation of this globally significant rainforest which is part of his Canadian heritage and we are thrilled he will be our narrator.”
Ryan said that he hopes the film “inspires the younger generation that there is hope for the future if we all work together and take care of our planet’s remaining wild places.”
The documentary will premiere in Vancouver and in four Canadian markets on 15 February. The film will also be screened in additional theatres across America in 2019.
