Cape Town – Warner Bros revealed the official title for the Fantastic Beasts sequel on Thursday.
The second instalment in the Harry Potter prequel series will be called Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Along with the announcement the studio also released the official fist picture of the cast.

The film will see the return of Eddie Redmayne as zoologist Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina, Alison Sudol as Queenie, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Ezra Miller as Credence, Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, and Johnny Depp as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.
Jude Law joins the cast as iconic wizard Albus Dumbledore.
The sequel will pick up a few months after the original. Grindelwald (Depp) has escaped and is gathering more followers for his cause.
The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander.

The film is set to be released in November 2018.
