Penelope Cruz required medical treatment on set after a fake panic attack turned into a real one

Cape Town - In an interview with The Wrap, published on Wednesday, Penelope Cruz has revealed that she needed medical help on the set of her new film Everybody Knows when a fake panic attack became the real thing.

The film is about the kidnap of a woman's daughter on a family trip from Argentina to Spain.

Penelope explained, “In one scene I have a panic attack in the car, and I ended up in an ambulance myself. It was just from hyperventilation and from my blood sugar going very high from the stress of the scene. I remember getting out of the ambulance, and Asghar (the director) made sure I was OK.”

The Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress added, “And then he asked me for one more take.”
