Jordyn Woods bags lead role in new thriller


Cape Town – Jordyn Woods just landed her first lead role in a movie.

Earlier this year the former best friend of Kylie Jenner made her first TV appearance in the Black-ish spin-off, Grown-ish

Now the 22-year-old is set to star in the new BET film, Sacrifice alongside Paula Patton.

The movie directed by Chris Stokes (You Got Served) will premiere on the network's streaming service in December.

It centres on Daniella Hernandez (Patton), an entertainment lawyer navigating the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients according to the film studios website.

It is not clear yet what role Jordyn will be playing.

On Wednesday the model posted on Instagram announcing that filming on the project had just wrapped.

She wrote: "This morning we officially wrapped my first leading role in a movie. We put so much work into it, but God was really on my side. The sleepless nights, to getting sick on set, and the rollercoaster of emotions. I can't wait to share this journey with you guys. I hope you all have a blessed week."
