LITTLE WOMEN
Director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has crafted Little Women that draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott and unfolds as the author's alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life. In Gerwig's take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life on their own terms - is both timeless and timely. The star-studded cast includes Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, with Timothée Chalamet as their neighbour Laurie, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep.

HONEY BOY
From a screenplay by Shia LaBeouf, based on his own experiences, award-winning filmmaker Alma Har' el brings to life a young actor's turbulent childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father and deal with his mental health. Fictionalising his ascent to stardom, and subsequent crash-landing into rehab and recovery, Har' el casts Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) and Lucas Hedges (Boy Erased, Manchester by the Sea) as Otis Lort, navigating different stages in a frenetic career. LaBeouf takes on the therapeutic challenge of playing a version of his own father, an ex-rodeo clown and a felon. Dancer-singer FKA twigs makes her feature-film debut.

A MILLION LITTLE PIECES
Based on the best-selling book by James Frey, an alcoholic and a drug addict, 23-year-old James has two options: treatment or death. After waking up on a plane with a smashed up face and no memory of the past few weeks, he heads to rehab where he discovers much more than detox and therapy. As James endures the white-knuckle journey of mending his broken body, he heals his broken soul by connecting with other kindred spirits who also yearn and fight for a better life.

LAST CHRISTMAS
Kate (Emilia Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating consequence from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop. Tom (Henry Golding) seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see through so many of Kate's barriers. As London transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, nothing should work for these two. But sometimes, you've got to let the snow fall where it may; you've got to listen to your heart. The film also stars Emma Thompson and features the music of George Michael.

DOLEMITE IS MY NAME
Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy portrays real-life legend Rudy Ray Moore, a comedy and rap pioneer who proved naysayers wrong when his hilarious, obscene, kung-fu fighting alter ego, Dolemite, became a 1970s Blaxploitation phenomenon.
