EXCLUSIVE: We sit down with director, Andy Muschietti to talk about 'It: Chapter Two'

On 1 September, Channel24 flew to London to speak to the director and cast of much-anticipated sequel, It: Chapter 2. Leandra Engelbrecht sits down Andy Muschietti to find out more about what went on behind-the-scenes.

Cape Town – Andy Muschietti had quite a challenge ahead of him coming back to do the sequel of the 2017 film IT. The film was a box office hit and named one of the best horror films of the year.

When we interviewed him in Spain for the first movie, Andy was very modest about the predictions of the film being the biggest horror debut ever.

Five years down the line, Andy shared that he didn't feel any external pressure with the second film.

"I had a personal challenge to make a movie that really could live in the same world as the first one with all the emotions that made the first one so special."

The 46-year-old also went on to share his biggest fear, which involves cockroaches.
