As a result of the setbacks, Rami Malek who will play the villain has had scheduled conflicts making him unable to film with Daniel.

A source told The Sun filming was supposed to wrap in September but has been pushed back to October/November due to his injury and the set explosion.

"But they still need to find a time for Daniel and Rami to film together. You can't have a Bond film where 007 doesn't come face to face with the villain so it's a complete nightmare logistically," said the source.

This is just the latest setbacks the film has faced the script has had a number of rewrites and director Danny Boyle quit after creative differences which initially saw the movie be delayed from October 2019 to April 2020.
