Cape Town - Dame Judi Dench is the latest major star to be pounced on for the cast of Tom Hooper's Cats movie.
She's apparently in talks to play a female Deuteronomy in the adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical.
The role of Deuteronomy has always been played by a man. The character is a wise and respected leader who spends the day sitting in the sun.
Earlier this week it was announced that Idris Elba will be playing the villain Macavity. Other cast members include: Taylor Swift, James Corden, Jennifer Hudson and Ian McKellen.
