Brad Pitt asks real-life astronaut who did it better – him or George Clooney?

Cape Town  Brad Pitt, star of the new space movie Ad Astra, had a burning question for a real-life astronaut.

In the science fiction adventure film, Brad plays astronaut Roy McBride who travels to the outer edges of the Solar System to find his missing father (Tommy Lee Jones).

On Monday the 55-year-old had a video chat with Nick Hague who is aboard the International Space Station. He asked him about what it's like working in space, how the body deals with it all and their missions.

But there was one very important question, "Who was more believable? Clooney or Pitt?"

George Clooney starred in the 2013 science-fiction drama, Gravity which won 7 Academy Awards.

Ad Astra opens in SA cinemas on Friday, 20 September.
