Cape Town – Britain’s Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank are inviting members of the public to their wedding.

The royal family announced in a statement on Wednesday that the couple are delighted to be inviting 1 200 members of the public to attend their wedding inside the Precincts of Windsor Castle on 12 October.

So, what do you have to do to get an invite? All you have to do is fill in an application form and wait for acceptance.

Unfortunately, the form only allows addresses in the UK – but that doesn’t necessarily mean only UK citizens are allowed to attend.

SEE APPLICATION CRITERIA HERE:

1. Applicants must be over 5 years of age and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Applicants must be living at a UK (or British Forces) postal address.
3. Individuals can only apply once, not multiple times.
4. Groups of families or friends (up to 4 individuals) should apply on the same form.  Should one member of the group be successful in the ballot, all members will be considered to have been successful.  The individual completing the application form must seek the permission of the other group members prior to providing their personal information in the application form.

APPLY TO ATTEND THE WEDDING HERE:

Princess Eugenie and Jack announced their engagement in January and will say ‘I do’ at St. George's Chapel in Windsor – the same location the Duke and Duchess Sussex tied the knot at in May.
