When will Prince William and Kate meet baby Archie?

Cape Town - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will finally meet baby Archie on Tuesday!

This comes more than a week after Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed their baby boy on Monday, 6 May.

William and Kate expressed their excitement about Archie's arrival through social media, just hours after Meghan gave birth, Us Weekly reports.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family," read an Instagram post on Kensington Palace's official page.

"Harry's family wanted to give him and Meghan some time to settle in to family life and Meghan’s mom, Doria, is still staying with them as the baby gets used to his surroundings."

A source claims that Prince George and Princess Charlotte keep asking their parents when they'll get to meet their little cousin, Mirror UK reports.

"All of the family have been dying to meet little Archie and are really excited to finally congratulate Harry and Meghan in person," the source said.

"William and Kate are also really looking forward to paying a visit, as are their own three children."

The royal couple will travel to Windsor on Tuesday to meet baby Archie while Prince Charles is set to meet the new baby for the first time on Thursday, Express UK reports.

Princess Diana's older sister Lady Jane Fellowes was one of the first to meet baby Archie. The queen and Prince Philip met the little boy for the first time when he was just two days old – shortly after the official photo call on Wednesday.
