Cape Town – On 12 October 2018, Princess Eugenie of York and Mr Jack Brooksbank tied the knot at St George’s Chapel – and it looked like a scene right out of a fairytale.

Just five months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot, crowds gathered once more in the early hours of Friday morning – some even brought picnic blankets and baskets – to see Her Royal Highness on the steps of the chapel.

According to E! News, Eugenie and Jack met in 2010 through mutual friends, many of whom attended the royal wedding eight years later, along with celebrity guests, the royal family, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte walking down the aisle as page boy and flower girl.

"This was the greatest day of my life... forever and always! Happy one year anniversary, my Jack!" Eugenie wrote on Instagram, remembering the day with a sweet throwback video of the wedding day.

Royal fans can expect another wedding with Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, set to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

While not much is known about the wedding other than the fact that it’s going to take place in 2020, we’re sure the picnic baskets and blankets will come out once more.

Perhaps we’ll even catch a glimpse of Archie – fingers crossed for our littlest royal to take on the role of ring bearer.
