accreditation

Cape Town – While her new life as a royal is far from the TV-set she is used to, Meghan hasn’t said to goodbye to her theatre roots altogether.

The Duchess of Sussex made her first visit to the National Theatre in London on Wednesday, as patron of the performing arts venue.

During her visit Meghan found out more about their “work with arts and community organisations across the UK”.

The former American actress was also treated to performances by school children, including a production inspired by War Horse. Meghan also met the young performers as well as the theatre’s apprentices, who are part of a trainee programme that “combines studying for formal qualifications alongside practical training”.

During her visit, Meghan gave praise to the schoolchildren who had performed for her.

A photo, shared by Kensington Palace, shows Meghan cradling her baby bump while congratulating and thanking the kids, but it is something else that is catching everyone’s eye.

It appears a young student, who is sitting right in front, couldn’t help by admire the royal with a massive grin on his face.
