London — Britain's senior royals, including the Fab Four, gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the investiture of Prince Charles as the Prince of Wales.
The gala event was hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
The queen and Charles were joined by his wife, Camilla, his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, and their wives, Kate and Meghan.
Sisters-in-law Kate and Meghan, who have not been seen together publicly since attending the customary Christmas Day service in Sandringham, oozed glamour as they walked alongside their husbands.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Prince of Wales’s many Welsh charities and patronages including the band, Stereophonics as well as students from the Royal Welsh College of Music.
70-year-old Charles was formally invested with the title Prince of Wales at a ceremony at Caernarfon Castle by his mother, the queen, on 1 July 1969.
The investiture regalia he wore that day was on display at the celebration.
