Duchess Fergie recently announced the launch of her new project: Storytime with Fergie and Friends.

The former wife of Prince Andrew and daughter-in-law of the queen said on her YouTube channel: "It’s so exciting because I’m in my favourite place ever, ever, ever and that’s with children and thinking of children. And thinking about all the children out there who just need a bit of magic.

"Let’s get a bit of magic going here," she says.

The 60-year-old also shared the news with her Instagram followers, adding that she will read one story every day during lockdown to keep the kids entertained.

"I’ll be reading both my own stories and others and asking friends to join in," she writes. "It’s all free and just for fun."

She adds: "I so hope you enjoy them and they give some of you something new to do during this difficult time."

Fergie is currently self-isolating with her family, which includes daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, at the Royal Lodge in Windsor – so perhaps we’ll see the duchess joined by one of the princesses.

After all, she does have two new books coming out – the one titled Trixi-Belle, and inspired by Princess Beatrice, while the other is called Genie Gems and inspired by Princess Eugenie’s passion for reducing single-use plastics, according to People.

Until then, the 60-year-old royal has shared her very first reading on her new channel.
