Cape Town – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced their third born son, Prince Louis will be christened on 9 July.

Kensington Palace shared the information about the occasion on Twitter, adding that the 2-month-old will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby at at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace in London.

Prince Louis was born in 23 April, joining his siblings – Prince George, 4, and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte – in the line of succession.

Prince Louis’ christening date comes after his uncle and new aunt, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex married on 19 May.
