Cape Town – Queen Elizabeth has requested that Harry and Meghan return to the UK for a royal family affair.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who officially gave up their sovereign funds and HRH titles in January following their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, have been staying in Canada. The couple made their first public appearance at an exclusive JPMorgan event on Thursday, but details about the banking company's summit were all very hush-hush.

Now, according to HELLO! Magazine, the queen has requested Harry and Meghan return to the UK for the annual Commonwealth Day multi-faith service at Westminster Abbey in London.

The duke and duchess are president and vice-president of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, of course, and were asked to join the rest of the royal family, which will include the queen, along with Prince William and Kate, and Prince Charles and Camilla.

Commonwealth Day is set to take place on 9 March this year, and Harry and Meghan's return will also reportedly mark the final round of official engagements for the couple who will officially transition into their new working model after that as it is expected to coming into effect in the spring of 2020.
