Cape Town – Princess Charlotte started big school on Thursday – and rumour has it the confident little 4-year-old's already got a nickname or two.
The princess joins Prince George at Thomas's Battersea – see a portrait of the Cambridge kids on their first day here:
According to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, Charlotte Cambridge – as she'll formally be called in the classroom – has a reputation for being "pretty feisty" and "very confident", reports ET.
And because she's considered to be a "tomboy" – "she loves climbing trees, and she's very much an adventurer," the royal expert explains – she may well keep her very fitting title on the playground of 'Warrior Princess'.
Katie also said she suspects others may call her by the affectionate 'Lottie' – a name she adopted both at Willcocks and at home, while other members of the royal family have embraced nicknames for the princess that are far more personal.
At the royal family's tour of the Chelsea Flower Show in London earlier this year Prince William called out to Charlotte and revealed his sweet nickname for his daughter.
"Mignonette," he called, which is a derivative of the French word "mignon".
In English, the endearing term means cute, dainty or darling – again, all entirely fitting for the little royal.
