Cape Town – For the longest time we've just heard details about baby Archie through the royal grapevine. But Prince Harry has finally given an update on his growing boy.

At a children's rugby event at Lealands High School in Luton on Thursday, one of the learners asked Harry how Archie's doing, reports HELLO!. The Duke of Sussex replied, "He is really well, thanks."

"And he is getting so big," the doting dad gushed.

Rumour has it, Archie shares Prince Harry's signature feature – his fiery red hair – but we'll have to see for ourselves when they come to South Africa for their first official royal tour as a family.

A source told US Weekly that Archie is coming with his parents because they don't want to leave their bundle of joy behind – they're even "planning one or two public moments with him", according to the source.

For the most part, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept Archie out of the spotlight, wanting to give the littlest royal as much privacy as they can, though it seems he's not so little anymore.

Here's hoping we catch a glimpse of growing Archie when the family makes their way to South Africa in a week's time.
