The Prince of Wales made a speedy recovery after testing positive for Covid-19 and will be returning to his royal duties soon.

The 71-year-old royal said that he’ll be opening the newly built NHS Nightingale Hospital at London’s ExCel centre via a live video feed from the comfort of his home in Scotland, HELLO! Magazine reports.

The NHS Nightingale Hospital was built in just nine days and is specifically aimed at treating coronavirus patients that need to be placed in intensive care, according to the BBC.

The new health facility, which is reported to be one of the UK’s largest, is made up of more than 80 wards and will be able to take a total capacity of 4 000 intensive care Covid-19 patients, The Guardian reported.

During the live-stream opening, which will happen on Friday, Prince Charles is expected to pay tribute to those who’ve dedicated themselves to ensure that the new facility was successfully built.

He’ll also be thanking health practitioners on the front-line fighting the coronavirus.

This announcement comes after the Prince of Wales shared a video message with the rest of the world on his coronavirus experience, after spending seven days in quarantine.
