Cape Town - The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance the British Fashion Awards on Monday night.
Meghan attended the star studded event to present the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award to her wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy.
The 37-year-old mom-to-be showed off her growing baby bump in a one-shouldered black gown from Givenchy.
During her introduction Meghan spoke about fashion and the deep connection we have to what we wear. "Sometimes it’s very personal, sometimes it’s emotional. But for me, this connection is rooted in really being able to understand that it’s about supporting and empowering each other, especially women,” reports Vanity Fair.
In turn Keller praised the Duchess. "I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life. I can't thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment," reports the DailyMail.
