Cape Town – Samantha Markle has once again lashed out at her half-sister and the royal family on Twitter.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has upheld a strong front since her estranged half-sister first lashed out about her new life with the royal family shortly after Meghan and Prince Harry announced they were engaged.

Samantha has maintained that Meghan has not done enough to take care of their father, Thomas, and has criticised Meghan’s every move in the spotlight.

Now, in a series of protected tweets, Samantha has spoken out again.

Following a second interview, in which Thomas once again slams the royal family for not making an effort to communicate with him and comments on Meghan’s happiness, Samantha has called Meghan out for ignoring their father’s pleas.

After sharing Thomas’ interview with The Sun, Samantha tweeted: “She can do the right thing by our father or regret it for the rest of her life. It is morally unconscionable to ignore him As he has made her everything that she is.”

Samantha followed up with more tweets telling the royal family’s “PR henchmen” to step aside and let Meghan “do the right thing and not ignore our father.”

On Tuesday, Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out to commemorate Nelson Mandela ahead of what would have been his 100th birthday.

Sharing a Daily Mail article about their outing, Samantha further criticised her half-sister, saying Meghan and Harry should be paying tribute to Thomas instead of other public figures.

She tweeted: “How about you pay tribute to your own father?! Enough is enough. Act like a humanitarian act like a woman! If our father dies I’m holding you responsible, Meg!”

Since missing his daughter’s history-making wedding in May, due to bad health, Thomas has seemingly created more tension between himself and his daughter.

While the retired lighting director has maintained that all he wants is to see Meghan and meet her new husband face-to-face, the subject matter of his interviews has only created more tension.

The 74-year-old – who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, 18 July – told TMZ he is not going to stay silent until the royal family contact with him.

“I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story. Apparently, that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode ... so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.”

His third public plea comes after it was reported that he is planning to fly to the U.K. to see his daughter, whether she wants to or not.
