Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quietly celebrated their second anniversary on Tuesday.

The couple, who got married on 19 May 2018 before welcoming their baby boy, Archie, the following year, spent the day "powering down", an insider told E! News.

"No calls, no Zoom meetings, no work. Just hanging out as a family. Keeping things simple," they added.

The couple, who are currently staying in Los Angeles with their one-year-old son since exiting the royal firm, have been keeping busy amid the pandemic. Harry and Meghan have been spotted personally delivering meals to fellow residents as well as checking in on the various charities they support, virtually of course.

Prince William recently shared that the royal family has been keeping in touch amid Covid-19 via video chats, while Prince Charles revealed they often share funny videos and images with each other – memes, it must be!

While we're sure the royal family sent their wishes to the couple on their anniversary, it seems there were no video calls on Tuesday.

Meghan has spoken in the past about just taking some time out. "We've just focused on who we are as a couple," she explained in their joint interview with the BBC after announcing their engagement. "And so when you take all those extra layers away and all of that noise, I think it makes it really easy to just enjoy being together and tune out all the rest," she said.
