Cape Town - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their new black Labrador pup – and we love it!
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told Daily Mail the loved-up pair are calling their adopted dog, who’s apparently the life and soul of their Kensington Palace home, Oz.
“The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage,” a source said.
“Like the Sussex's, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds.”
Although the royal couple hasn’t shared the significance of their pup’s name, Mirror News reports that it might have to do with their first official tour as a married couple to Australia.
Before marrying into the royal family and deactivating her social media accounts, the former Suits actress regularly took to Instagram to post adorable pictures of her dogs Bogart and Guy, who are both rescues.
Unfortunately, Meghan had to leave Bogart with a friend in Canada when he was deemed too old to travel to the UK, Harper’s Bazaar reports.
Meanwhile, Guy is reportedly leading a luxurious life in Nottingham Cottage and only eats organic food. The beagle even got to ride alongside Queen Elizabeth to Windsor ahead of the royal wedding.
