Meghan Markle has lost yet another key member of staff, bringing her tally to nine.

Diversity campaigner and social entrepreneur Natalie Campbell, who ran the Sussex Royal foundation, has left for a new job after just five months. She’ll now head up Belu, a water company, The Sun reports.

In a statement confirming the news, she said, “It’s a highlight to be joining Belu at such an exciting time for the business and the social enterprise movement more broadly.

“I’ve been an admirer from afar for the last 10 years; leading Belu into the next 10 – continuing purposeful growth and changing lives as a result – is a privilege and honour.

“The world needs more businesses that put the environment, human rights and sustainable practice at the core of their values and operations, I can’t wait to get started.”

Natalie was famously poached by the Sussexes from Prince William and Kate’s Royal Foundation in August.

She reportedly grew close to Meghan after working with her on the Together cookbook to benefit the victims of the Grenfell fire tragedy.

At the time a royal insider told the Mail that the departure of the award-winning social entrepreneur and author will be noticed. “Natalie will be a real loss to William and Catherine. She has done brilliantly for the Royal Foundation.”

She follows a string of resignations within the last 18 months which includes two communication workers, a private secretary, a deputy private secretary, Meghan’s PA and female bodyguard as well as two nannies.
