Cape Town - US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump hosted a dinner in London on Tuesday attended by the UK prime minister and the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.

Donald and Melania hosted the dinner at Winfield House, a mansion in London which is the official residence of the United States ambassador to the United Kingdom. 

The president and the first lady have been staying at Winfield House during their three-day London trip, which started on Monday.

Prince Charles hosted the US head of state for tea on Monday when an awkward moment happened. 

On Monday night Queen Elizabeth hosted a dinner for Donald during which he might have broken royal protocol.
