WATCH: This reporter accidentally fangirled in front of Ricky Martin after interviewing him

Cape Town – It’s only normal to totally fangirl when meeting your celebrity crush, but as a reporter it is preferred to do it after you’ve met said crush.

Unfortunately for Chicago's WGN reporter Ana Belaval this was not the case.

Belaval was interviewing her celeb crush Ricky Martin on-air via satellite about Puerto Rico and on-the ground recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

Following the interview Beleval was under the impression that Martin had been cut off giving her the opportunity to totally freak out about having just interviewed him.

Little did she know The Assassination of Gianni Versace actor heard it all and was very flattered.
