Professional wrestler and reality TV star, Hana Kimura, has died at the age of 22.

The cause of her death has not yet been revealed, E! reports

Kimura starred in Japanese reality show, Terrace House, which airs on Netflix. The show sees six strangers, three women and three men, move into a house together for the summer as cameras capture their experience.

Wrestling company, Stardom, which represented the 22-year-old, issued a statement on Twitter, saying: "We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. We appreciate your support during this difficult time."

According to the BBC, before Kimura's death, she shared a number of troubling social media posts implying that she was the victim of cyber-bullying.

The publication also reports that concerns were raised after Kimura allegedly shared images of self-harm on Twitter, writing that she "did not want to be human anymore".

Members of the wrestling community took to social media in remembrance of Kimura, and to speak out against bullying.
