Prince Harry and Meghan spend special night out honouring Britain’s severely ill kids

Cape Town – Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out on Tuesday night to honour a very special group of young people.

The royal couple suited up for the WellChild Awards, which celebrates “the inspirational qualities of the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives.”

Harry – who has been Patron of the national charity for seriously ill children and their families, since 2007 – and Meghan spent part of their evening meeting some of the award winners and hearing their stories.

Harry later took to the stage to commemorate the WellChild Award winners.

“Every one of you is truly amazing. You have shown all of us what it means to be a champion – whether for yourself, your family, your community, or someone in need,” He told guests and honourees.
