Johannesburg - Nicki Minaj has a new man but the barbs are not happy about it, according to People magazine.
The Ganga Burn rapper went Instagram official with her boo as she posted a series of pictures of the loved up couple, including her half naked on the bed while her partner takes a picture.
The pictures and subsequent videos she posted were from the couple’s weekend getaway to Turks and Caicos to celebrate her 36th birthday.
According to reports, Nicki’s new man is Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, a registered level two sex offender in New York. That means he’s considered a “moderate risk of repeat offence” and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
According to online records from the New York Division of Criminal Justice Services, Petty was convicted in April 1995 of attempted rape in the first degree for an incident that occurred in September 1994 involving a 16-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 18 - 54 months in prison, but it is unclear how much time he actually served.
Petty also pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of a man named Lamont Robinson in 2002, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Blast.
According to the website, Petty plead guilty to the manslaughter charge in March 2006 and served seven years in prison after being sentenced to 10. Petty was released in May 2013, and had been on supervised release for five years until May of this year.
It’s no surprise that Nicki’s fans are unhappy with the relationship between the rapper and her new boo. This is in light of the 2017 conviction of her brother Jelani Maraj (38), who was found guilty of repeatedly raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter while her mother was at work.

Meanwhile another fan stood up for the rapper and her new man, claiming Kenny had changed since his arrest. A sentiment that was backed by the Barbie Dreamz rapper.
“Wait y’all calling this man a rapist but it happened in 1994, meaning he was 16 or 17 and the girl was a 16 year old..must’ve been a white girl,” annaadoll said about Nicki’s new man.
In response the rapper said, “He was 15, she was 16…in a relationship. But go awf internet .Y’all can’t run my life .Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo.(sic)”
