Cape Town – After just two months of dating, Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter have split.
Their whirlwind romance started shortly after the Slide Away singer separated from her husband and actor Liam Hemsworth. While the couple had been growing apart, after she was spotted cosying up to Kaitlynn Carter, Miley's rep released a statement confirming her split from the Hunger Games actor.
Miley and Kaitlynn had been inseparable ever since, with an insider saying, "Kaitlynn has been a huge support system for Miley and they haven't left each other's sides."
Kaitlynn also recently announced her split from Brody Jenner before her budding romance with Miley.
"Their relationship is getting more serious," the source revealed before reports came that the two had moved in together.
But while Miley and Kaitlynn undoubtedly developed a close bond, and they are still friends because of it, E! News confirmed on Saturday that the couple had decided to go their separate ways.
