Cape Town – Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, seemed happy and undeterred by ongoing family drama during an outing on Tuesday.
The duchess visited the Royal Variety residential nursing home, Brinsworth House, in Twickenham where she met with residents and staff as well as spent time decorating Christmas cards and was treated to a Christmas carols performance.
According to Kensington Palace, Brinsworth House accommodates “up to 36 residents who are cared for by a dedicated team of nurses and care assistants”. Of those residents include “those who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry and are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.”
Despite her father, Thomas Markle’s recent public plea for a reconciliation and her half-sister, Samantha’s ongoing Twitter rants, Meghan was all smiles as she stepped out donning a floral Brock Collection dress and grey Soia & Kyo's Adelaida coat.
