LISTEN: John Mayer gets philosophical about those Kourtney Kardashian dating rumours

Cape Town – John Mayer had a very honest discussion about the Kardashian family with Andy Cohen and you have to listen to it to believe it.

During an interview on Andy's SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, John set the record straight on any rumours that he and Kourtney were flirting at GQ’s Men of the Year party in December 2018 – and added what he thinks of Kris Jenner at the same time.

Sharing what really happened at the party, John said: "I ran into the bass player from The Scorpions and his name was Klaus or something…He started throwing me in a video and I was hamming it up because I love The Scorpions and then Kourtney Kardashian walks up. I said, 'Kourtney walk away. This is the bass player from The Scorpions and he's going to try to get you in his video' cause he was already like 'Hey Kourtney, come be in my video.'"

In nutshell the Gravity hitmaker claims all he did was "save Kourtney Kardashian from being in a video with the bass player from The Scorpions" more than anything else.

And while John had nothing but good things to say about the entire Kardashian family, he gave special mention to matriarch Kris Jenner.

"She [Kris] has a good grasp on how to make your serotonin just burst in your brain. I was sitting next to her and I was like, 'You are the ground zero of Hollywood bliss,'" the 41-year-old told Andy.

He did however add that he is a little "afraid of her" too.
