Justin Bieber seeking treatment for depression

Cape Town – Justin Bieber is leaning on those closest to him but is also seeking professional help for depression.

The Love Yourself hitmaker has reportedly been having a difficult time dealing with his mental health and has formed a strong support group to help him through it.

A source told E! News: “He [Justin] really wants to get better. He has been seeking all the help he can get. He is in outpatient therapy and getting help every day.”

Justin recently opened up about his mental health in a joint interview with his wife, Hailey Baldwin, with Vogue magazine.

Revealing when he started feeling depressed and sharing personal details about dealing with it, Justin said: “I got really depressed on tour. I haven’t talked about this, and I’m still processing so much stuff that I haven’t talked about. I was lonely. I needed some time.”

Justin further revealed that his mental health struggles stem from a long string of issues including his “mom’s depression” and his “dad’s anger issues”.

According to People magazine the 24-year-old is focussed on getting better for his future children.

An insider told the publication: “He’s feeling very positive that he’s uncovering some root issues, and everyone is optimistic that this will help him figure out his next chapter.

“He’s going to be a dad someday, and he knows that could happen sooner rather than later.”
