Johannesburg - Lady Gaga and fiancé Christian Carino are rumoured to have ended their relationship just four months after announcing their engagement.
A source close to the pair told E! Online that the Shallow singer and her fiancé split up last week.
However, another source said that the pair still plan on getting married this year.
Fans speculated the pair have broken up when the A Star Is Born actress showed up to the Grammy Awards ceremony without Christian – and not wearing her $400 000 (around R5,6 million) engagement ring, Daily Mail reports.
But and inside has said, “She just wasn’t wearing her ring due to performing. They’ve put all their wedding plans on hold until after Gaga’s busy season, but still plan to get married this year.”
The Bad Romance singer and her fiancé, a talent agent, reportedly started dating in February 2018 and confirmed their engagement in October, Entertainment Tonight reports.
“Christian loves to make her happy and he is so proud of her success,” a source told the celebrity gossip site.
“He’s patient because he was a huge influence in her doing the film, to begin with. The amazing thing about their relationship is that he understands her work and career and he’s there to guide her.
“This relationship is different because Christian understands her on a more intimate level. She trusts him fully and feels totally secure around him. They don’t get a lot of private time, but when they do, they love to have private getaways in fancy hotels.”
