With most of Hollywood in isolation, celebrities are having to find new ways to entertain themselves.
But some, instead of making countless TikToks, are using their platforms to share the importance of self-isolation as the coronavirus continues to spread.
By staying home and avoiding interaction with others we can 'flatten the curve,' i.e. reduce the number of people getting infected all at once, as the disease spreads between people who are in close contact with one another. This happens when an infected person coughs or sneezes close enough to someone else for the droplets to be inhaled into the lungs, the Centers for Disease Control explains.
So celebs took to social media to participate in the challenge which sees people all around the world posting a photograph of themselves holding a sign that reads "#IStayHomeFor". They then add the names of their loved ones, driving the message that we need to self-isolate to protect the people we hold near and dear.
