Elle Fanning is 'all good' after fainting during a Cannes after party

Cape Town – Elle Fanning is doing well after suffering a "fainting spell" at a Cannes Film Festival Party.

According to E! News the Maleficent actress briefly passed out but "quickly recovered" before leaving the Chopard Trophée Dinner Party on Monday night.

An eyewitness told the publication that it all happened too quickly for people to notice, however word got out after the party was temporarily paused.

"Most people in the room didn't even notice until after there was a brief pause, during which word quickly spread through the venue about what happened."

Thankfully Elle was uninjured when passing out as her older sister Dakota helped her to her feet before they were assisted by security, Variety reports.

After news made headlines, Elle took to Instagram to share what actually happened and to let everyone know she is "all good".

"Oops, had a fainting spell tonight in my 1950’s Prada prom dress but it’s all good," the 21-year-old wrote before revealing in her hashtags that her dress was simply too tight.
