Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Lauren Hashian welcome a baby girl

Cape Town - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and and Lauren Hashian have welcome their second child together - a baby girl named Tiana Gia Johnson.

The Rampage actor took to Instagram on Monday to announced the happy news, writing: "Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama Lauren Hasian laboured and delivered like a true rockstar."

The Rock added that he participated in Tiana's delivery, saying that he has a "new level of love, repect and admiration" for the mother of his two younger daughters.

Word to the wise gentlemen, it’s critical to be by your lady’s head when she’s delivering, being as supportive as you can.. holding hands, holding legs, whatever you can do. But, if you really want to understand the single most powerful and primal moment life will ever offer - watch your child being born. The Rock revealed he and Lauren were expecting baby no 2 with some help from 2-year-old daughter Jasmine, in December.

Lauren showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet at the premiere of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle shortly thereafter.

The Rock also has 16-year-old daughter Simone with his ex-wife and current manager, Dany Garcia.

Baby Tiana arrived the same day the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child.
