Cape Town – Chrissy Teigen is “extremely protective” of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex and she won’t apologise for it!
The cookbook author took to Twitter on Sunday to defend Meghan after the former Suits actress was criticised for her appearance on Remembrance Day on Sunday, 11 November.
Chrissy first shared a tweet taking a jab at media personality Katie Hopkins for comparing Meghan to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.
She then tweeted: “I am EXTREMELY protective of Meghan Markle despite not knowing her. I will not apologise”

While Chrissy has not met the duchess in person, this is not the first time she has spoken out in support of her.
Shortly after of Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry on 19 May, Chrissy shared her anger towards the American beauty’s father, Thomas Markle, after alleged the royal family had cut him out.
