Cape Town - Chris Pratt (39) is publicly gushing over girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger for the first time!
The Guardians of the Galaxy star shared some of his favourite photos of Schwarzenegger, including a series of never-before-seen snapshots of the couple, on Instagram and Twitter in honour of her 29th birthday on Thursday, People reports.
“Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together,” Pratt captioned his collage.
“Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care,” the message concluded.
Schwarzenegger responded with a heartfelt, “I love you” and three heart emojis. This is the first time the 29-year-old has acknowledged their romance publicly on her own social media, ELLE reports.
The two have been inseparable ever since photos of them enjoying a romantic picnic made headlines in June 2018, according to E! News online.
"From the moment they met, it just seemed different for Katherine. This is definitely the most serious relationship she’s had. They haven't been together that long but everyone is rooting for an engagement to happen soon," a source recently told E! News.
The pair were introduced by Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver who’s separated from actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Since then the two have been spotted riding bikes, going on multiple church dates and spending time with each other’s families, including the A-list actor’s six-year-old son Jack, and ex-wife Anna Faris.
In September, Pratt’s rep denied claims of an engagement while a source close to the pair said, “Chris and Katherine are very happy together. They’re very compatible and have a lot in common.”
