The magazine honoured eight women in total including: Megan Rapinoe, Greta Thunberg, Yara Shahidi and more. Charlize's cover was taken by Spanish fashion photographer Miguel Reveriego.
In the accompanying interview, the 44-year-old reflected on her incredible career, her relationship with her mother and raising her own kids.
The 44-year-old philanthropist shared that her mother, Gerda Maritz, was refreshingly candid with her, including telling her when her childhood ballet recitals in Benoni, South Africa were not quite good enough.
The actress said about those moments: "It was devastating to hear, but I realised that when she said something was good, I could believe her. It was the same thing my whole life,".
She added: "She gave me the truth always - the good and the bad equally. I'm trying to do that with my kids."
Charlize has two children, Jackson and August adopted in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
